All of our equipment is checked every time it is returned and serviced regularly to a high standard. The processes that we use to maintain the skis and snowboards are the same as those used to finish the skis when they are made in the factory.

Base Grind

Stone Grinding is a process that prints a distinct milli-metric pattern onto the base of the ski or snowboard improving the way the equipment moves across the snow. This helps with the manoeuvrability of the ski/ snowboard, making them/it easier to control, and glide on.

Ceramic Edging produces constant, and hardwearing edges that apart from improving turning and stopping power, also allows the ski or snowboard to turn without catching at the wrong time.

Hot Waxing

Using hot wax ensures that it is absorbed into the base of the ski or snowboard to further improve its slide qualities. The edges can also be polished on this machine.

These processes help skiers and snowboarders of all levels whether you are a beginner, an improver, cruiser or an adrenaline junkie. They are designed to maximize your enjoyment of snow sports!

We will be back open in December 2020
